Dissecting the effect of family business exposure on entrepreneurial implementation intention

Purpose Scholars have typically examined family business exposure as an aggregate variable. However, it is probable that this trend oversimplifies the complexity of and its nuanced influence on entrepreneurial behaviour. Thus, to extend theoretical boundary, inquiry investigates distinct dimensions in Nigeria while drawing theory planned Design/methodology/approach Data were collected from five public universities Nigeria. A sample 1,314 respondents was analysed using a partial least squares structural equation modelling approach determine alternate exposures. Findings The results show forms parent, member work involvement salient distinctive influences implementation intention extent self-efficacy, attitudes subjective norms are uniquely impacted.
